Clinical overview
The Endo Universal™ stapler is used in endoscopic hernia repair to fix mesh with titanium staples, and its main advantage is reach into awkward angles. The head rotates a full 360° around the shaft axis and locks in four working positions — straight (0°) or articulated to 20°, 45°, or 65° — so the surgeon can present staples square to the tissue even against the curved abdominal wall. It comes pre-loaded with 10 titanium staples and accepts four additional single-use loading units (SULU), giving up to five loads per handle. Staple size is selected by choosing the 4 mm or 4.8 mm SULU to match tissue thickness. The device is introduced through an appropriately sized trocar sleeve, or a larger sleeve with a converter. Supplied sterile. Confirm the SULU size and quantity of reloads with your order — the handle and the loading units are quoted together for a complete working set.
